UNDERSTAND THE CHART

Read the triangles and dots.

ThreeLux plots the levels. Its optional markers show how price behaved there. SR means Sweep / Reject on one completed candle. A means Acceptance over consecutive closes.

Green up triangle Demand response
Price sweeps below a qualifying low and the same candle closes back above it. Lower prices were rejected at that level.
Red down triangle Supply response
Price sweeps above a qualifying high and the same candle closes back below it. Higher prices were rejected at that level.
Green dot Acceptance above
Price closes above the same qualifying high for three consecutive chart bars by default. The dot appears when the count is reached.
Maroon dot Acceptance below
Price closes below the same qualifying low for three consecutive chart bars by default. The dot appears when the count is reached.

Same level, two outcomes. At the previous day’s high, a qualifying sweep above and close back below can print red SR. Three consecutive closes above that high can print green A. Nearby markers can describe different levels. A tag such as A @ AsiaH names the reference.

Seeing larger arrows with a quantity and price? TradingView can display order executions with separate arrows and fill labels. ThreeLux uses the small SR triangles and A dots to describe price behavior around a level.

CONSECUTIVE CLOSES BEYOND A LEVEL

What does A @ AsiaH mean?

Price has met the acceptance rule above the completed Asia reference high. With the default setting, that means three consecutive confirmed chart-bar closes above the same eligible level.

AAcceptance event
@At this reference
AsiaHAsia reference high

It distinguishes repeated closes beyond a reference from a brief touch or wick. Acceptance below an eligible low uses the corresponding low-side reference.

ONE CANDLE CLOSES BACK THROUGH A LEVEL

What does SR @ PDH mean?

Price traded above the eligible previous-day high and the completed bar closed back below it, while meeting the configured sweep and reclaim filters.

SRSweep / Reject event

The red triangle marks a high-side rejection, a price-based sign of supply. The green triangle marks the mirror image at a low, a price-based sign of demand. Each event must meet the active filters.

The close also reclaims the reference. Real events must satisfy the user's additional filters. This is a conceptual diagram, not historical market data. PDH SR AboveClose below
The completed candle must qualify.Penetration, reclaim distance, candle direction and close location are configurable. Named tags identify the reference; the guide explains each filter.

Start with the named reference and read the marker in context. Supply and demand describe the observed price response. Use it alongside your own trade plan.

Show the reference name on your chart

Under 04 | Signals (bar-close only), enable Acceptance markers and/or Sweep / reject markers, then turn on Historical exact-trigger tags. Keep Presentation view set to Off. Named tags are off by default; ordinary markers show A or SR.

Tags appear on the event candle. When several references qualify, one primary name is shown with an additional-reference count. The same unchanged reference does not emit a new acceptance on every continued close.

YOUR SOURCE CHECKS

Know what the line represents.

Inspect the selected session, source dates and coverage. Qualified references and observed or incomplete data have different event eligibility. Missing data can withhold a level or its events.

SUPPLY & DEMAND, THROUGH PRICE

Know the location.
Read the response.

A defined level gives you a place to focus. Completed price behavior gives you something specific to assess.

A push above a high that closes back below it differs from repeated closes above it. ThreeLux marks qualifying behavior around eligible references, helping you study buying and selling interest within your own framework.

Four useful terms, in plain language
Reference level
A price calculated from a defined period or opening time, such as the previous-day high. It gives you a specific location to watch.
Session
A defined time window used to measure a high, low or open. The selected market preset determines its clock and boundaries.
Reclaim
Price moves beyond a reference and the qualifying candle closes back on the original side. Additional filters determine whether ThreeLux marks an SR event.
Confluence
Two or more references lie at or near the same price. Grouped labels help you see that overlap while keeping the source prices available.

DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. ONE CONSISTENT FRAMEWORK.

Your experience.
Your way to use it.

Start with a few references or configure the detail around an established process.

FOR NEWER TRADERS

Build a clearer routine.

Start with a manageable set of references. Learn what each level represents and observe how price responds around it.

  • Learn the references. Understand the period or window behind each line.
  • Read the labels. Connect SR and A to specific, completed conditions.
  • Review with structure. Name the level, your scenario and the response.
A simple first-chart setup
  1. Use the approved release on a standard-candle chart from 1 to 60 minutes. Choose Auto or the appropriate market preset.
  2. Set Presentation view to Off. Begin with previous-day levels and one opening-range family, such as OR15 where available.
  3. Check the day definition and data readiness. Learn those labels before adding more references.
  4. Observe a completed SR or A event and name the reference involved. Configure notifications separately when you are ready.

This is a suggested learning layout. Add references as you understand their purpose.

Follow the first-chart walkthrough
FOR EXPERIENCED TRADERS

Your process. Less maintenance.

Standardize recurring chart preparation with explicit source definitions, market clocks and notification controls.

  • Standardize the map. Select market clocks and previous-day sources.
  • Filter the notifications. Choose event types and source families separately.
  • Inspect the source. Check dates, coverage and qualifications.
Know which clock drives the output
Session and opening ranges
Use one-minute source records. OR15 measures 15 source minutes, independently of the display interval.
Acceptance and sweep events
Use completed chart bars. Three acceptance bars span different elapsed time on 1m and 5m charts.
Notification delivery
Uses its own source filters, event switches and cooldowns. A displayed marker can be excluded from alerts.

Coverage, history, feed and configuration still affect availability. Confirm the selected definitions when comparing charts.

Review source and event timing

A repeatable map supports a more deliberate process. Your analysis, execution and risk decisions remain yours.

ENGINEERING DISCIPLINE

Know the definition.
Verify the context.

Consistent analysis starts with consistent definitions. ThreeLux makes the selected session, price source and coverage visible so you can understand the reference behind each line.

01 / TIME

Session-specific boundaries

New York forex rollover, CME electronic trading days and US equity regular sessions follow different opening and closing conventions. Those distinctions are explicit.

SESSION DEFINITIONS
02 / SOURCE

Real-price references

Source-minute prices are distinguished from chart-style transformations. A missing scheduled-opening candle is not silently represented as an exact opening print.

PRICE SOURCES
03 / QUALITY

Qualified vs. incomplete

Inspect source coverage and opening delays. Observed references and event-ready levels have distinct qualifications, with additional controls for broker-dependent data.

COVERAGE CHECKS
04 / EVENTS

Rule-based price events

Sweep/rejection and acceptance markers use explicit conditions on completed chart bars, giving you named observations to compare with your own setup.

BEFORE YOU START

A few practical
answers.

For settings and definitions, explore the user guide .

What does ThreeLux automate?

It calculates and plots selected prior-period, session and opening-range references as the required data becomes available. Optional markers describe qualifying price reactions. You choose the references and apply your own analysis; the indicator does not place brokerage orders.

Which markets and chart intervals can I use?

The design covers selected CME index, gold and crude-oil futures, US-listed stocks and ETFs, and spot forex on time-based intraday charts from 1 to 60 minutes. Availability depends on the symbol, preset, feed and history. Heikin Ashi is a display option; calculations request ordinary underlying prices. Check compatibility.

Where should I start with the settings?

Newer traders can follow the first-chart walkthrough with a small set of references. Experienced traders can begin with source and event timing, then configure sessions, visibility and notification filters around their workflow.

What do the green and red triangles and A dots mean?

A green SR triangle marks a sweep below a low and a close back above it. A red SR triangle marks a sweep above a high and a close back below it. A dots mark acceptance after consecutive closes beyond a level. Optional tags such as A @ AsiaH name the reference. See the chart marker key.

Can a reference change or be unavailable?

Developing levels can change until their windows complete. Missing source minutes, available history, feed revisions and configuration affect references and events. Check the selected source and coverage diagnostics. Understand source readiness.

Why might a marker appear without an alert?

Display and notification filters are separate. A marker can be visible while its reference or event type is excluded from alerts. Choose the intended sources, switches and cooldowns, then create the alert. Recreate it when changing the intended version or inputs. Follow the notification guide.

Do I need my own TradingView account?

Yes. ThreeLux runs in TradingView. Your TradingView plan and market-data access are separate, and may affect the history, sessions and alerts available to you.

How do I get access, and can I subscribe?

Send an evaluation request with your exact TradingView username, markets and chart timeframes. Requests require individual approval. Paid subscriptions are not currently available through this website. The product-update list is separate and does not grant indicator access.
